In 2014 but starting the search now Late 60's fastback mustang

These are hard to find but maybe someone will know of one local or something hidden away.

I am planning to purchase a restomod/protouring style Mustang Fastback next year. I am a bought not built kinda guy so I would like it to be complete running, driving, bodywork etc.

I would be open to a coupe but it would have to be exceptional.

Must Haves

Manual Trans
V8 Powers
Not White
Black Interior

Would like to keep it between 20-25k on the high end. If someone has an exceptionally clean shell that just needs a powertrain, I would do that as a project as a last resort

Thanks

428 cobra jet!!!

Boss 429!!!

Tokyo Drift RB26 Mustang…only real option.

I agree 500GT KR

be a baller bro. dont cheap out! http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/4098620789.html

Fastbacks are catching big money these days, this guy thinks his is worth 20K

thats gotta be a typo lol. no way anyone would pay more than 2k for that

If its rust free its worth more than 2K, if its a rust bucket its not worth much at all

I could be super baller and get it but then i would have to sell the 03 and not build the garage. Haha

Damn that looks nice, I would like a replica of this with a modern drive train.

Who owns that Mach 1??

Love that car in York, hope its around in the spring.

I dislike that body style

Steven Seagal does, you have to fight him to buy it though.

You’re silly.

I do not think anyone including Chuck Norris could beat Seagal, as long as Seagal has the ponytail. Without it, Norris wrecks him.

And while it is not my favorite body style, I do like it better than an early coupe in some regards.

And I would def. take a care with an upgraded drivetrain. The only thing that needs to be original is the body style.

I could live with the auto

I dont think I could be happy with a car like that because there are so many things I would want to change. Looks like its out of your budgeted range - 50K

Yeah…way too much $ for me but really like the look
