In here for the heaters

I’ve lurked here for a while and made a few posts in the Homes forum, but with the Heaters & Hotdogs event coming up, I found the need for a formal introduction. I guess I should tell my car history:

Over 9 years…
1994 Ford Escort - Bought & Sold for $500
1997 Pontiac Bonneville - Parents bought, sold to buy-
1999 Chevy Camaro - V6, Great car, sadly need to sell it soon
1998 Ford Taurus - Great little wagon, sold it to a friend at ~160k miles and he’s got it well over 230k now
1996 Audi A4 - The car that made me hate Audis. Ended up selling it with a busted transmission for $700
1996 Nissan 240SX - My first 240SX, bought it without an engine and sold it before it ever drove again. So technically I never drove my 1st 240sx.
1998 GMC Jimmy - Pretty much been my DD since I bought it. Been very reliable, but with gas prices now and the fact that I don’t drive anyone around 5-7 days a week but myself, it’ll be sold around summer
1995 Nissan 240SX - Current project car. Sitting on jackstands with no rear subframe in the garage now.

The Nissan

I know it’s in terrible shape, I put it together enough to get it inspected and daily drive-able so I could get a month in of driving last year.

I think that’s all of them. While I like not ever having an auto loan to pay back, I’d love to have some of the really nice cars you guys have on here (maybe something year 2000+…).

So as I said before, I saw the heaters & hotdogs event, and I’d really like to go. But I figured since it’s a forum event I should probably introduce myself to the forum so I’m not an introverted creep sitting in the corner the whole time. Plus, I love burnouts. That said, I have a set of tires waiting to be burned off.

Looking forward to seeing people there

TL;DR
Been on here, owned cars, like burnouts.

Nice cliffs, welcome aboard

YEP

Well there’s a decade of shitty cars if I’ve ever seen one.

Welcome. Get that 240 finished so we can like you.
