So I sold my daily “02 Escalade EXT”, it was a very good truck for what it was, I was getting nervous of the air suspension failing and costing alot to fix so I decided I needed to sell it before that happens.
I’m thinking of replacing it with maybe a 4x4 maybe quad cab 07 and up Silverado/Sierra, or maybe an 09 and up dodge ram which would be a stretch. The budget I’m in is around 10k, which means the truck is going to have higher mileage(around 100k-140K). With the GM trucks I’m not as worried about the engine or transmission, but the dodges I don’t know much about, but I have always heard the transmissions aren’t good. Of coarse this area any of the trucks in my budget range might have rust issues, I can probably patch up some minor stuff myself.
Anyone have any experiences with these types of trucks?
