Increased Steering Angle (Tein Tie Rods)

well, i’ve jus got my tie rods installed and alignment done.
first off, the way it increases the steering angle is by placing the included spacers (looks like long washers) instead of the lockplate between the inner tie rod and steering rack.

my 1990 240sx is at stock height and with stock 7spokes (wit 205/65/R15 tires) and when i turn my wheel to full lock (left or right) the tire rubs on the inner frame/wheel well. is this normal, any1 else have tein tie rods?

would wheel spacers help stop the tires from rubbing?

thanks.

^^ i hope you used locktite for the tierods since there is no lockplate

you have to pound in the metal that your hitting.
I know that sounds gay but really the only way to solve the issue.
