i saw a black g35 that still had the infiniti badge on but put a skyline badge underneath it. even put a gtr emblem on the upper right hand side. i was driving with arhamz and we had fun with the guy. cant believe that guy was so dumb. there never was skyline gtr after the r34. it was just called skyline, dumbass. so what me and arhamz do, we overtook the guy and when he saw an actual skyline he slowed down a bit. probably felt a bit ashamed. lol. at least he could’ve rebadge everything nissan and left out the gtr part.
hahahahah…in 2008 the new GTR will be sold in Canada tho…
btw i saw this guy at Seneca college …i think he changed his front grill as well
and he got GTR badge on it … last week i saw 2002 red celica with a GTR badge

omg. i would’ve died laughing if i saw you do that. but the one they’re selling here is only a gtr. its not even a “skyline”. i dont know why the hell nissan is renaming everything. first it was only called skyline for the g35, now its only called a gtr.
the skyline and the GTR are different cars…they changed the name because
it has different design …i think the japanese should’ve name the skyline(infinityg35)…Fuga…as they call the m35…would’ve been way better…
IIRC, the GTR badge will only be used on FI versions.
Im going to have to top you all lol around my area there is a black cavalier with skirt kit ect (no motor mods) with a GTR badge in the middle of the trunk lol i love domestic GTR’s i will see if i can get a picture next time i see it
its also because of the chasis codes as well. (r31, r32, r33, r34) = skyline gtr, g35 chasis code is v35 hence they called it only skyline. they didnt think calling it a gtr would be proper. the new one they didnt call it a skyline due to it might cause confusions with the g35. it is rumored that the chasis code for the new gtr will be r35 which is more fitting for it.
I just dont really approve of how they abandoned the Inline 6… Word is the new engine is just a bored out VQ with 2 turboes slapped on.
