I’ve seen Ingram mentioned on here in the past, I just started working there this week was wondering if any nyspeeders were still around?
What are you doing?
vendor licensing on the blackberry team.
 Are you Jeff’s bitch?
LUL. Say hi to Aaron Sunshine for me. Call him “FRUIT”…before you tell him about me…he’ll be so baffled.
mobility team, checking in. sorry bout your luck being in licensing though.
Posted from my BlackBerry using BerryBlab for NYSpeed
I’m the west coast isr for the digital signage division, oddly enough I sent a request over to the bb team today
licensing :tif:
Tell Adam Baker he forgot his “mmm bakes, seal of approval” on his ROI report.
LOL.
I don’t miss Ingram 1 bit, but some of the crew I miss f’king shit up with. LOL
I always hear about IngramMicro.
since when is here a verb?
:lolno:
I sea the same thing
Interesting range IM stock has been stuck in here. This is a quarterly candle chart…long term. I love the fallout in the Y2K recession…Bye Bye tech bubble. LOL
Buy $10-11 and sell $20-22. Also be on the lookout for a longer term chart close outside that range…it would likely be a perceived value shift.
Options could be used quite well on a range bound play. Tap into that time value with covered calls. Use premiums to get lower prices on new shares with naked put selling.
I sold IM in my 401k at the last hit of $20. Everyone at IM thought I was a “retard” and what not. I don’t think IM has any edge at this point, they outsourced their way to mediocre. JMHO
A friend of mine works there and he wants to slice his wrists he hates it that much. Don’t they start you out at something horrible like $22,000?
Generally pay is good for full employees, considering the skillsets.
The apex interns get ass raped with wages on the other hand. This is why Ingram is heavily staffed with interns and foreign oursorced agents. It saves $, the true costs are overlooked though. You do get what you pay for for if ya ask me.

As for the wrist slitting…it’s so heavily micro managed there it’s disgusting. You take 2 min too long shitting and they are asking for a write up of why you were late or missed your availability time on the phones.
you must have had one shitty boss. I dont think mine even knows the definition of micro managing.
Tech support was all micro managed. Shitty boss is par for the course at ingram in my experience (more recent times anyhow)…across the board. Sales people I knew were insanely micro manged as well. I knew a few licensing people that seemed to have it a bit more laid back perhaps. Then the good ole market dev team…they seemed to have VERY limited management from my outside view. I presume your in market dev?
Trust me…that may sound bashing of market dev…it’s not meant that way.
im in MD… im even more removed being in mobility because no one in management understands the business (mainly cause the carriers are fucking retarded). so for the most part they leave us alone to do whatever, and as long as we doing good, we never hear anything. we blew away our numbers for this past year, so we have a pretty long leash.
Speaking on which, did you even get a new job yet?
