is it possible to buy arcade machines over the net for private use? im trying to look for an initial d arcade machine…anyone got ideas?
i have one at home, i been practicing daily for the past few months, can’t wait to test out my skills at the track.
it’s going to cost you a LOT of money for one unless you have a friend who own an arcade who willing to get rid of it cheap (which is unlikely) but yes you can buy anything for private use. I own 4 arcade machines and 1 pinball machine.
wangan maximum tune 2 owns initial d, its got both highway and mountain pass, a more realistic shifter, and the physics are much more real, initial d all u do is understeer through every corner, the anime was good, the machine sucks

I tried to buy a version 1 machine 2 years ago, $25,000… 15,000 for a single unit ( non head to head)…
imo, thats a huge waste of money to play it on free time. buy a 5g car and put 10gs into it and u’ll still get more out of it than a stupid machine. then spend the other 10gs on track fees and gas which will last you more years then the machine itself.
max tune 2 & battle gear 3 are so much more fun n advanced n realistic than initial-d… duno why everyone loves initial-d arcade machines… u dont need the brakes on it… u dont drift… n a dc2 or fd3s is only thing u need to own the game
I banned myself from the game…After spending $300 worth of loonies on it, instead of going to my economics class at York. Damn that game is like a drug, still cool to play from time-to-time. :lol:

Just get a Jitz table much more fun. Only time I really played ID was when playdium had it on the time card. Even then I didn’t really play. Jitz is much better and much cheaper. And on a good day 50cents can last a whole evening of fun.

DL the torrent for ID special stage and play it on the PS2… it’s exactly the same…

the jitz tables at sheridan (and prolly every post sec. school) makes huge coin every day. from about 10am - 4pm * .50 cents a game * each game only lasts about 10 mins. and alot mor efun.
