This thread doesn’t change my opinion that the car is bloated, full of bloatware, and overhyped. Nor does it change the fact that it carries a whole lot of potential for the price (MSRP) point. :shrug:

Don’t think so. Not a fan and can think of 10 other cars for that price tag that I would rather have/drive.
You should list them so we can spend the next 5 pages telling you how bad those cars are too, get waaaay off topic, only to be saved by the sweet pics Onyx will take when he actually gets to the car.

Also, smaefer, that’s not really what I meant. I DON’T think everyone should LOVE the GTR and drool over it. I think people should STOP HATING it.

Hahaha yeah, he’s driven cross country with me 3(?) times? Plus we’ve hung out a bunch besides. 
Besides I promised not to take traction control off. The computer certainly does some really odd things when you are getting into the power while turning. I don’t particularly care for the gizmos but I am interested to see how it does on a track later this summer. I promise vid and photos later this weekend when I meet up with Onyx. My buddy’s g/f tried to race us last night in her 996 from a 50ish roll, I left it in 6th :roflpicard: Oh yeah the car has an accessport as well
I still wish they looked like the prototypes with the Spec V wing on a white wideybody G35/G37

auto ruins it for me… not to mention i dislike the overall exterior look… i bet id love all the toys, and from what i understand they’re comfy.
That being said, i never hated on them, i just think a RWD z06 would provide more giggles and fun.

I think that with the Carrera GT’s and Scuderia’s and 911 Turbo’s no one is probably going to look much at the lowly GT-R cruising with them.

Ok so I just put 60 miles on this now that it is upgraded, makes 580whp now on pump gas, absolutely insane. It still drives just like stock around town, but it’s an absolute demon on throttle, and surprisingly the traction control is still very very good with the power levels increased. Looking forward to tracking this, possibly at VIR, later this spring.
