Injector help

Alright, now some of you may laugh and say this is a noob question, however I’m having a &itch of a time and want to get this resolved.’

My #2 injector is no longer firing, and I have 4 spares; however I can’t seem to get the damn injector out! Is there a trick to it? I have been able to rotate the fool thing in the fuel rail, but it just won’t come out. I don’t want to force anything because it’s all plastic and I wouldn’t want it to break…

Any hints? I’m obviously missing something here…

I used vice grips, and twisted while i pulled, just be carefull.

Thanks for the reply, I actually made myself up a tool which matches up to the two holes on the side of the injector. The tool penetrates and bottoms in order to eliminate the potential for breaking the injector.

Worked great and I was able to remove all of my injectors without having to remove the fuel rail!
