Injectors - Where to get them cleaned/how to clean them yourself?

I have a misfire code coming on my 06 WRX. I have replaced the spark plugs and coil pack. I have ran a bottle of Seafoam through the gas tank recently but this has not fixed my problem. I am looking to do the next step in checking out the injectors. Regardless if they are needing it or not, where can I go to get the injectors cleaned locally?

Can I clean them safely myself without damaging them?

IIRC, Napa on Werhle Rd is able to do ultrasonic cleaning. Perhaps someone can verify this.

Thank you. I’ll give them a call now.

Thank you again. I called and found the shop does them at the Wehrle location and at $20 an injector. Replaces screens, replaces o rings, run test…etc.

:tup::tup::tup::tup:

If it’s a random misfire code I would bet money that injectors are are usually not the problem esp on these cars. If I were you I’d clean and or replace the mass airflow sensor, plus look over the intake piping and charge pipes from the maf to the throttle body including vac lines. What codes are you actually getting?

STM also offers this service as well. Wasn’t aware that NAPA on wherle did this so that’s good to know

:word: getting mine cleaned on the GTR and instead of shipping them out ill just hit up NAPA
