So the car I bought has a june 06 inspection sticker on it and my plate registration is october. Do the stickers have to match (be the same month) or does it not matter? Every other car I have owned the two have been within 3 months so I could get them to match with one inspection.
They changed the law a few months back. They will give you a full year unless you want the stickers to match the plate.

the registration doesn’t have to match the sticker. Just get a new sticker put on it.
