Last night me and a friend (Hurrican) tried to get my tranny back in my car and we could not do it.
Can anyone ovver some sugestions or come and help. (I would prefer someone that has done this a few times
did you change the clutch? was it aligned properly, if it isnt it wont go in. make sure its aligned properly then ur realling going to have to kick it in. have someon inside the car hold up the tranny with rope or u can use the seatbelt then line it up as best as u can then push it in then actually kick the damn thing good luck
ya that is not a problem, I had an alingment tool
but we could not even get the front of the shaft into the tranny never mind the gearex section
I know this may seem like an obvious thing but have you jacked the front of the motor up to have it tilt so that the tranny can slide on. you may be at an angle with your tranny hence why it isnt going on.
ya the angle is the problem, we tried that and raised the motor, but going to try that again tonight, that is the biggest problem,
if we get a bigger angle tonight then I am going to lift it into place
i totally forgot about the motor wheni did mines i had to push down on my motor iuno good luck bro
I got it in, I just got right under the tranny and lifted it by hand.

glad to hear, I was about to say raising the tail of the tranny from inside using a rope or something usually helps too.
HAHA YA, I chose the brutt force method.
now I just need to bleed my clutch slave becasue there is no pressure when the peddle is pressed
