Installing windows. Whats the temp at which...

Hey guys, I could always find out later in the store but i need to know NOW.

I got some windows to put in and Im thinking it might be to cold for the caulk to adhear/dry properly.

Off the top of my head isnt it like 50*F for 24hrs?
anyone know?

I think silicone is 45 or 50 but contractors don’t seem to care what temp it is. lol

Just read the damn tube.

I think it’s more like 40+ for 4-6 hours

For Best Results:
• Apply in temperatures above 40°F (4,44 °C).
• Do not apply if rain or freezing temperatures are forecasted or before full cure can occur. Cold weather and
high humidity will slow down cure time.
• Do not use below waterline or for marine or automobile applications, or filling surface defects.
• Joint depth should not exceed 1/2” (1,30 cm) wide by 1/2” (1,30 cm) deep. If joint exceeds 1/2” (1,30 cm)
deep use foam backer rod.
• Store sealant away from extreme heat or cold.
