I am looking at insurance as my policy is up in a few days, and I was just actively trying to see if I could get a better deal.
Also looking at insurance for my next planned car.
What I noticed is that for some reason the Audi A4, while not costing much more money than the Talon, and while being MUCH safer and MUCH less powerful, was more exspensive than the Talon is to ensure?!?! Why is this?
Is there generally a big difference between the quoted price, and the actual price?
I’m with Allstate and pay $350 (no collision) a year for the talon and about $750 for the Neon (full coverage). I’d try them and see what they do for you.
Do yourself a favor and go to lendingtree.com and do a search for insurance then you will get several quotes from a couple companies. Thats how i found unitrin and they are by far the cheapest. And before you go into the whole you get what you pay for stuff i have been in an accident with my STi, it was 2300 damage, not only did my insurance only go up 10 a month they tried to nail the other gu for driving like a tool even though i rear ended him it was still mostly his fault so they understood that and stuck up for me.
