Yes we built an APS twin turbo 350Z. 3.5" test pipes, 3" true dual exhaust, fat boy intake manifold, aps strut brace. Exedy carbon twin plate. alot of work but it all pays off!

i think the reason is that many companies make 3.5-4 inch exhausts so the testpipes at 3.5 inches is what they use as a standard…im not sure, but this is my thesis…
its best to have the biggest downpipe possible…

but you dont want it too big because then you will get boost creap.
