It’s not stainless … i suggest the powder coating.

… $25 for powder coating, does that include a zinc coating?

i’ll take a brake booster brace. heh. you’ll have to mock her up on the cefiro tho

dude, is that a brace or a heat shield or both?

If its Powder Coated when why would you need a zinc coating ?

Suppose to be a Heat Sheild… “not the one I’ve made thou”

Just a pic found online… I’m up a few tomorrow so I will post some detailed pictures then

Scraficial anode, everything will corode no matter if an electrolite can get in or not, it will corrode with itself. The Zinc takes longer to corrode and will corode before the iron does, that way your part doesn’t corrode inside out. Lets say you scratch the coating, well this is going to make it happen faster.

Thats why all of our cars are zinc coated.

But thats not the point of this thread, i doubt it will corrode to an unuseable condition on anyones car. … not to be a dick, but i got 10 large brackets zinc coated and powder coated for $8.00 each, I’m not going to say where because im not trying to lose you business. Perhapse group buy these things?

I’ll take one though Darrian just to let you know you dont want it boxed on the bottom you want to seperate the air not confine it. The master needs to dispate heat too. What you need to do is extend that thing futher down, down past the steering column (steer tube as BAS calls it) and make it as tall as the hood.

Hey man that looks great. Very nice work.

I WANT IT!!!

Dude thats what I’ve been looking for. Just a couple of things though, please tell me i don’t have to remove the mc to attach it? I’m hoping i just losen the nut and slide the tab in then tighten down the nut again. Last, it will have to pretty tight to the break lines as I only have maybe a quarter inch between a manifold runner and the line itself so I’d like the heat sheild to be almost touching the line.

Here’s a pic so you can better understand what I’m talking about and my concerns,

So if you can answer those questions and it’ll work for me, then I WILL TAKE ONE FOR SURE!!! If you can powder coat it metalic purple like the GReddy Type S bov that would be perfect. If not, just black please.

Let me know ASAP on this man and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Take care.

Easy 8)

Bruce,

If its a hole, you can cut out one side and make it like a slot, so that all you ahve to do is loosen the MC bolt and slide the slot underneath.

EXTREME!!!

Yeah I thought of that after I posted.

Thanks a lot though man.

Now it’s just the clearence issue I need addressed.

pfffft, what a N00b! … theres no “e” in XTREME!!!1

Will make sure it as tall and low as possible and still ensure that it will fit for everyone without any fitment issues and will also have it as close as possible to the Brake Lines so no one has any Manifold issues…

In regards to Bruce… 1/4’’ Room shouldnt be a problem… 18ga Mild Steel will be used and should fit easily and it will only require 2 bolts @ the Strut only. “easily install”

As I will be stuck on Black for almost a week I can only offer 2 Colours for these which are Black or White… If you wish you can paint them with a high heat paint.

$25 - Powder Coated Black or White

$15 - Mild Steel Finsh

Ok that’s great then, I will take it. Just the $15.00 version and I’ll paint it myself then.

Please let me know when they will be ready and I’ll either Paypal you the money or Interac Email money transfer it to you along with what ever shipping will be unless we can meet up somewhere.

So I’ll wait for the info and have a good one man.
