Introductions - New users please post intros here

First post,
Real name is Jim
I am 21. From Normandale(near Port Dover) but I go to school at Mohawk and live in Hamilton during the school year. I’m an Industrial Engineering Tech student here.

Bought my first 240 this year in september, 89 coupe, 123000k on it. Going to be my summer car.

I was shown the site by my roommate Mike Belluz. Lurked for about 2 or 3 months then figured I would register.

I think he meant those same gauges on a bone stock n/a motor because they are unnecessary in that case. They’re not as bad as a boost gauge on the same n/a motor (you laugh, but I’ve SEEN it first hand, big boost gauge, no snail or S/C anywhere on the car)

welcome, there is a bunch of us on here from nigara i have a few friends from dover that go to niagara college. hope to see you around int he summer

Dovers a small town and even less go to niagra. Just wondering who you do you know?

Hello,

My name is Fil ( thats Phil with an F ). I live in Mississauga and I am curently searching for a 91-93 240, have been for a few months now. I have visited these forums quite often in the last year, since i started considering a 240.

I currently drive a 2000 Neon ( don’t laugh or flame, it is a great car and hasn’t broken on my once, biggest issue was the rear bearing started to go ), got it about 2 yars ago as a first car and loved it to death, but now since my job is steady it is time for me to part with the 3-speed automatic 4door family car.

Well that is pretty much my intro, hopefully I will get the 240 soon and I can join some meets.

Welcome.

Is it an import or do you have one of the very rare USDM ones?
People really underestimate them, they look like the average camry/accord of that era… no one knows they are 4 door Eclipses

Hi,

My name is James and I’ve recently purchased a (black) 91 Nissan 240SX.
[Had a Mazda MX3 before :x ]

Ever since then I never have been so happy in my life. haha

Didn’t realize they were this fast.

I actually did post in this thread - but I hit “new topic” at the bottom of the page by mistake instead of the “post reply” button – so it naturally created a new thread outside of this one.
Then one of the mods locked the thread so I couldn’t explain my mistake. Anyway - reposting here…

Car: 1991 Nissan Maxima SE (curveball!)

Thought I’d check up on you “other” Nissan guys lol. Mostly though, I’m here to embarass ‘enyaw’ as much as I possibly can. I live directly across the street from him (even though Andrew spends more time there)

Current mods (all going in this week) will be: Eibach Pro kit, KBY-GR2 struts, KVR brakes, and a Place Racing CAI (there aren’t a ton of mods for my gen of Maxima - so this is exciting stuff).
Mostly though, I am here to get in on a good GD for tires. So I’m heading over to that thread now…

Cheers

It’s a rare 1992 USDM version, but they were built in Japan…

only 1000 of mine :stuck_out_tongue:

2000 of 1991s

so 3000 in total

Hey

My name is bill, I’m from richmond hill.

I’ve seen a lot of crazy 240sx around this area & after cruising the forums for a while & watching locations, and pics I can tell most of the people here have baller 240’s.

Anyways, My friends from the site got me all hyped on the car, after last winter with the welded diff I couldn’t help myself but to get into the 240 things.

I should be getting a car in about 2-3 weeks… Atfter that I’ll be safe money so that I can buy a few new things for the car… Oh and ofcourse so I can afford supplying beer, smokes & food for those of the people who come to do my motor swap for me since I’m getting a 240 with a blown motor.

Sell your soul and get a new freaking keyboard…

Sell your soul and get a new freaking keyboard…[/quote]

He has a new keyboard… its the encryption or whatever… Like when you go to. - Start - run - regedit.

I think somehow he fucked around with the actual computer brain, and unless you know what your doing… that regedit stuff all looks the same.

Regedit and the Windows Registry have nothing to do with his keyboard or the computer’s “brain.”

Tell him to buy a new keyboard, they are $10. Also tell him not to post here until he gets one.

Back on topic, this thread is for intros only.
