djexpo your car looks really clean, where’d you get that little peice of trim for the wheel well?
Hey all, name is Dan 22 from Thornhill. Got my first 240 a few days ago, its a 1991 fastback absolutely mint condition with no winters. Took some pics with my phone, will have better ones later. Hope to meet lots of you at the Richmondhill meet and other events, peace.
lmao you resorted to settling with a integra just as i had hahha
hey guys
I got recommended to this site from JP.
Anyway I drive a '76 Datsun 280Z with an LS1 swap
I ran a 12.66 at StThomas as I destroyed my half shaft this weekend.
Good times
The car
The motor
The carnage
sweet ride… welcome to the club
Nice ride dude. Any plans to mod the motor? You still running stock ECU?
sooo nice man welcome.
nice ls1 swap, do you have a write up on that?
+1
thats a sweet car man, id love to see build up pics, swap looks super clean
Wow badass Z. Did you do the swap yourself? How many man hours went into it?
The motor has the LS6 intake on it as well as a cam. Obvious mods are headers and custom exhuast from the headers back.
I’m running the GM PCM which has modifications via HPTuners.
If you want in progress pics of the swap I can direct you to a link here:

Procision-Auto was the shop that did the swap/work for me. Tino did th swap, fuel system, clutch and wiring/programing. Full Throttle Welding did the intake piping, rad hose and full exhuast. They did a bang up job as you can see.
Anyone know where I can find an LSD for an R200?
car looks sharp man. how did your install process go? any problems? did you do any work yourself or did precision do everything on the car?
welcome and i hope i see you car around next year at some track days.
peace
i did the cam swap, intake, valvetrain.
i also did the door panels and seat install as well as the complete stereo.
the hardest part was the tranny mount as the datsuns aren’t known to be exactly the same from car to car so a little modification to the mount needed to be made for it to fit properly. otherwise it was pretty straight forward.
hey bud you from oqcgp.net ?
That’s an awesome ride you got there. Z’s are deffinitely one of my favorite cars of all time. Welcome to SON!
Welcome to son, awesome car.

I got two used half shafts yesterday in hopes one will work for me so the car can drive again.
