Android has the potential for greatness. However, there is one device in the US market running it, and it is less than impressive.
I guess the rumors can stop for a while this year. I said it from the beginning when Verizon has partnered with Google and really pushed forward the Android platform.

Well don’t get excited yet. Despite hearing it on the local news (Channel 2 in Buffalo) that it was coming to Verizon, I just found this:

So Boomberg’s source is a bit sketch… And this is still a rumor.
It’s just funny because it was being reported on the news this afternoon as coming to Verizon for sure. Woops. So looks like Jeff can get more hell from people

anyone on verizon looking for an iphone needs to look into android handsets. They have a phone for everyone and the OS is just miles ahead of iOS. People really need to take the blinders off and take a good hard look at what google is doing. android 2.1 is already awesome and when 2.2 drops its gonna bring flash and improved performance to the table… and brand new os is already supposed to be updated to 3.0 before next year. I doubt the iphone will be on verizon any time soon but if it does I won’t look twice at it.
