Short of putting a deck in the vette with an ipod interface, which i dont really want to do, i cant find a good way to play my ipod over the radio in the car.
I used to have an fm transmitter specifically for the ipod that worked AWESOME! but a “friend” stole it and now he lives far away, so i cant even beat his ass and take it back.
Anyways i bought one yesterday at target for like 35 bucks and it works like SHIT. Does anyone have one that works really good? If so can you tell me what kind/where you got it so i can get one? Thanks alot!
i have no clue, its possible? There is a button on the headunit that says “cd-aux” but the aux has no function, ive looked in the owners manual and theres no section covering the “aux” part of the button.
Big thanks to johawk! I just purchased the usa-spec ipod interface part # pa11-gm45. for $119 with free shipping
provides full control over your ipod thru your stock headunit. Also charges the ipod while its hooked up. Full plug and play install as well, just plug it into the back of your stock deck and run the interface/wires into the glove box to hook ur ipod into.
Crutchfield sells these for almost any car, seems like an awesome product, ill have it wednesday or thursday according to crutchfield. If anyone else is interested im gonna install it on thursday (day off) and ill let you all know how it works.
