Picked up a jailbroken iPod Touch the other day…

Everything is cool except when I try to go to the iTunes store to get something from there, the previous owner’s iTunes account is still saved in the Touch.

Checking online, it says to sign in on my computer with my iTunes account, and sync the Touch to it in order to change the iTunes account setting.

I tried this, but it didn’t work. Previous owner’s account is still on there.

Anyone have any idea how to get the iTunes account changed without resetting everything?

I have no idea, can’t you reformat or something like that? Hard reset?

I ended up doing a hard park… er, reset and it solved the issue. Lost the jailbreak, but ehh it’s all good

You need a program called Touch Copy. It will allow you to take the songs from multiple Ipods and move them to you Itunes.
