Like the title said. Is it worth it gettin a wideband. What do you guys think.
absolutely…even on a completely stock car (sarcasm)
how the fuck should we know? what do you do with your car? what do you plan on doing with your car? modifications? track? tell us some more mofo.
i got a turbo kit i am putting on in about a week. just curious. some people say get one others say dont.
only if you are doing the tuning yourself
this debate was practically already covered in another thread…
if you are not tuning it yourself, I think it just depends on on how worried you are about monitoring your motor, since a narrowband O2 and A/F gauge may not tell you what you want to know (i.e. if you are running slightly lean at WOT, etc.)
if you putting a turbo on, get one at least you will know where your at it will take the guessing out
if you have to ask this question you should not get a turbo. its an essential monitoring tool that you will always need. how the hell do expect what your car is doing. plus you can tweak shit whenever you want, and road tune it to fit your daily driving.
YOU CANT TUNE WITHOUT ONE.
yes.
get one, if you already parted the cash for the turbo kit It only makes sense to Keep an eye on your a/f’s, somthing could fail even after the car is tuned by someone else
unless you have an egt
wideband is NEVER a bad idea. they arent that much money for the extra insurance of knowing more about your engine vitals.
I won’t drive a boosted car without one! It’s great for tuning and also great to see how it’s performing every minute of every drive!
yes, buy one. those narrowband blinky light shows are poop!
