I’ve been drinking about a 1/2 gallon of milk a day(skim) as I really like it and It should be much better for me then the pepsi I always drink.From this article,It seems if you drink even an 8 oz glass of milk a day it’s bad.
What do you guys think?

Milk gives me the shits in anything more than 8oz servings, so I believe it.
That’s BS… I always drink Milk. How could it be worse than pop? I think Milk is great for you.
I drink TONS of milk. at least 2-3 gallons a week. My bones are like fucking rebar lol.

One of their main arugments is that tall people are more likely to get cancer and milk makes you tall. :rolljerk: I grew up drinking a lot of milk and I’m a staggering 5’11". They say that every generation is getting taller than the previous because of milk consumption. Yeah, uh, humans have been drinking milk for a looooooooooong time. Better nutrition overall lending to height gains maybe? IMO that article is BS trying to sell a book by offering a view of something alternative to the norm.

they give the cows hormones to produce more milk. that’s reason enough for me. i got down with Silk a few years ago.

I drank a ton of milk when I was a kid and I’m a whopping 5’ 5". I think they are using invalid statistics to analyse this. They’re saying milk will make you tall, and tall people have a higher risk of certain types of cancer.
Milk alone will not make you tall. Being tall doesn’t necessarily increase your risks of cancer. It could be something you do because you’re tall, such as eating more food. You can spin statistics anyway you want.
i took a class on health and nutrition, and the teacher was SOOOO against milk, and showed us a few examples of why its bad. cheese is by far better for you than milk. i have not drank milk since i took that class two years ago, and ive never felt better lol. try taking a clear glass, and pour just a little bit of milk into it, and swish it all around so the sides of the glass so it coats the glass. dump out the extra. now, put your faucet on so that its barely a stream, this simulates the pressure of blood that flows through the human veins. now try rinsing out the glass with this stream coming from the faucet. milk actually coats your blood vessels and increases risk of clots and such. the tests that milk raises your calcium levels is BS…why do you think osteoporosis has gotten so huge in the recent years? what milk actually does is pulls the calcium FROM YOUR BONES and puts it into your system, which raises the “levels” but it actually weakens your bones. thats what the prof. said anyway. ever since its cheese for me

i know for a fact that fortified orange juice is a better, more efficient source of calcium than milk.
side note, we’re the only animal that drinks milk from other species. yeah, no other animal has the knowledge to do that, but if you think about it…it’s just weird.
