So i recived the delivery notice in the mailbox at work today for a act clutch and some gaskets…
it turns out to be $438.75 worth…
which is more than the clutch and gaskets cost me…
this was shipped via fed ex.
The answer of course, is that Fed Ex is garbage.
Wow… And I thought getting hit with 100 bucks for my act last year was bad. This is why I’ll only buy local from now on.

Soluton: Buy locally or get Bing to smuggle it one way or another.
They prob valued it at like $2000 for insurance, but didn’t realise about duty and brokerage fees.
smuggling over the border is key… thats what i do when i bring parts also 
or order from me or phil and not worry about it at all.

i have invoices and declare absolutely everything at invoice value. you can come with me if you need proof.
there is no brokerage fee when you do this yourself and the taxes are predictable because there is a fixed rate. i am able to factor it all in ahead of time and accurately cost the items if shipping is known.
i also happen to live less than a 4 minute drive to the US /Canada border which makes the trip quick and easy.
