Got traded in at the dealership i work at. Car Looks awsome. very clean only the smallest amout of rust under the driver side mirror. under body is very clean as well. its got brand new rubber and almost brand new rims. 5spd 229kms i drove it home this weekend. Drives smooth and everything works. i can pick it up for $1800. what do you guys think?

Get that rust fixed right away (or just get a new door) or it’l just get worse fast.
Come to think of it, PM Hurricane here on the forums to get a mint white door for super cheap!

Reading this carefully should definitely make your decision a good one:
Looks good to me. Should only have minor rust. I would say from the looks of it. Take it to somebody close by to take a look at it if you want.
I would take a really close look at all the seams and whatnot on the body as the car is a repaint from what I can see. You would not be surprised how easy it is to quickly “cover” up rust for a little.

S13 Hatch key areas;
-Frame rails @ firewall/factory pick-up point (round hole)
-quarter panels behind mudflaps
-front inner fender wells/seams & spot welds
-rear panels beneath lights
-cowl - ie:metal that supports windsheild wipers
-inner/outer rocker panels
i had it on the hoist thursday and its clean underneath. minor Surface rusf, but nothing to worry about. Guy must have taken real good care of it. Also looks like it was rust proofed.
thanks guys for all your input and heads up on things i should look for. i ve been driving it for a couple days now and have fallen inlove with it hehe. dont think i can pass it up.
