car has been sitting in my garage since october. last time it ws started was aout 4 months ago.
started it up again for the first time today, it fired right away but it sounds like pure ass.
im no mechanic so i wouldnt know any of these sounds.
no cat-cat either, which i kniow is making it sound somewhat truckish.
is this normal?
same gas has been in this tank since i got it in october lol.
fluids were pretty low when i started it as well. i need to top them off
Old gas, old (possibly low) oil = bad
Do an oil change, get some new gas in there, see if it makes a difference.

What kind of noise is it making? Is it comiong from the engine, or the exhaust? My car has been sitting since October with the same tank of gas and fired up right away and purrrrrs. I highly doubt its the gas thats causing it, i’ve personally known of cars that have sat around for years with the same tank of gas and startup and run fine.

my car would run rough if i parked it more than a month. some fuels aren’t as stable as others.
always make sure to put fuel stabilizer in the tank before you store it. for now, fill it up with new fuel and see if your problem goes away.
I agree. The gas should be fine, unless something was wrong with it before you stored the car.
The truck noises are most likely due to the fact that that it’s a KA.
