iTouch Help

i tried to upgrade my iTouch to the 2.0 firmware the free way, and now when i sync my iTouch, it wont go past 358 songs… and a critical problem/error pops up, ive already tried uninstalling and reinstalling a new iTunes, is there a way to bring ure iTouch back to the original 1.x firmware…?

Click restore on iTunes when you plug it in and let it download.

i do that, and it brings it to the 2.0 software for some reason, not the 1.x… is there anykind of reset process thru the iTouch it self? or anyone at apple would be able to do?

why on earth would u want firmware under 2.0? if youve already got 2.0 installed, buggy or not, connect your ipod and auto update it to 2.1. Itll be fine after that im sure.

You can just download a 1.X firmware you find online and do it the same way you upgraded it to 2.X.

There really is no point to go back. Maybe you have a bad image. Where did you download it from? Is it jailbroken ipsw file or is it a clean restore? I would try to download anothher 2.0 image for the ipod (make sure you dont get the iphone one) and reflash it and see if it fixes anything.

did the the upgrade to 2.1 and it still is messed up…idk what to do

i donno what it is…im gonna try this again with a different file… but fi u could find me one that should work fine in the meantime id appreciate it…

What is the 358th song? Remove the songs from your library and add them back in…narrow down what breaks it.

good call. Might be a bad file
