Like I was telling you Friday night, if you think that its bad now, you should have seen it when there was a huge boulder right at the point. While working at EB, I saw at least 2 or 3 SUVs parked on said boulder… unable to move, teetering back and forth on their frames. It was always worth a good laugh.
That parking lot is designed terribly, but that’s what happens when you take a plaza that was origianlly meant for 1 place of business, split the building for 5 (or 6, I can’t remember) buisness and expect the parking lot to handle the increased traffic. Then again, it was built by Benderson originally :gotme: They sold it over a year ago and I can’t remember who owns it now.
I’d really like to find out… probably wouldn’t cost too much to just make that piece just a little shorter.

What the Japanese rockstar said…the curb is tricky but not to be sexist…I have only seen women drill it or park their SUV’s upon the boulder that was there. UPS, FEDex, DHL, Semi trailers can manuver in that lot…but I guess when you pay attention to your surroundings…you don’t have these troubles. Maybe they should put a black diamond on that entrance and a green square on the transit road entrance to make it easier to understand your parking lot skill level

I have went in there 50+ times…so have a bunch of people I was out with tonight…None of them have hit the curb…
I don’t seem to understand this…IF YOUR LOOKING WHERE YOUR GOING YOU COULD SEE THIS CURB AND AVOID IT.
You make a RIGHT or LEFT depending on which way your going on wherle…then your forced to make a RIGHT going AROUND SAID CURB…If your not BLIND you can see the curb and AVOID it.
At 10mph I CANT SEE THIS BEING VERY HARD…
Normal people don’t enter a parking lot at 40+mph then make a 90degree right turn at 40mph at such high rates of speed that they can’t see the curb.
When you autox you avoid cones at the same rate of speed she would have been avoiding the curb…so I don’t see how this at all differs from autox

Jan, no offense but I’m like 75% sure that there is a “No Entry” sign at that spot… Itagaki might know better. I thought that side was only an exit to that parking lot. I do know there is a “No Left Turn” sign for when you exit right there…

Its no left turn. You can enter and exit if making a right out of it.
And I still don’t see how people don’t NOT hit this.

I still don’t get it… what’s with Williamsville and the no left turns? They are at the oddest spots. Trying to come out of Quality onto union near the Mobil gas station and you can’t make a left there… weird. I make those lefts anyways… it just puzzles me why those two spots are no left turns…
