Sorry Rick, but I have to…
Man, if you have ever seen Jan auto-X you would know that her fault would not be cones, but braking and plowing straight into the side of Quizno’s (a la foam barrier @ Batavia) :banghead:

Obviously there are lots of bad drivers out there if that many people hit the curb.
Welcome to the club.
also, i really dont see you blowing out a bearing AND an axle all in once, unless you plowed it at like 20 mph…but then again, i think n-towns service department can be a bunch of bullshitters too…
The most unbelievable part of this is that Northtown gave you a rental!
I used to go to this Quiznos all the time, I never realized this curb was a problem until I watched some old guy just drive right up over the whole thing… and I couldnt stop laughing. I am sorry, but that shit is funny. I love eating there simply for this reason.
Hm. I just might go there for lunch in a few minutes to check this out.
Free show with every meal!
The owner (of Quiznos)said he was going to setup some tables in the summer outside just for watching the curb, right Andy?
Wow, not sure how I missed this whole thread of drama. Pretty amusing read too, especially when the paintshop drawings and then sat images were busted out. Further proof that in the US nothing is ever your fault.
Hahahha!!!
More images… because I’m bored
It is a flawed design having it be so narrow to make a turn in… but I still can’t see popping the curb with my backend there (although I have done it in other places)
damn montecarlochick with the NSA satellite photos
curbs are fun to hit, whacked one last week while having too much fun in the STI
no damage other than a lil curb rash
you’re lucky, i have a nice deep gash in mine, unfortunately mine was due to getting forced into a curb while in a traffic circle.
its not hidden :gotme:
That white van makes it very clear why the curb is there. Take away the curb and people would be clipping the white van.
how about people getting into the van, or getting out of the passenger side and walking towards the building?
be careful on parking lots, that shits crazy.
And fetter, stop fucking with the 4WD, when you need it you’ll know. don’t touch it.
AGAIN… I never said it wasn’t my fault… just that it’s a bad design.
thanks for letting me know that curbs aren’t invisible and that they don’t move…
you fucking tools.
I go there all the time to pay my verizon bill and whatnot…I have never hit that curb. Learn to drive maby :gotme:. LMFAO at calling poeple who don’t hit curbs “fucking tools”.
That parking lot is a pretty nasty design, lot of blind spots around the building too. Can’t tell if someone is about to whip around the corner at 40mph in their explorer causing the tires to explode resulting in a roll-over, and scraping over that curb. But given the amount of people that hit that curb there is definatly some design issue. However what else can they do, there is barely any room in that lot.
On a lighter note, Personally I think they should put the big boulder back there. Adds an element of embarrasment.
I must be really stupid because I still don’t see the point.:rolljerk:
