Well it’s official, I’ve said my goodbyes to her and watched her being driven off my driveway….bottoming out for the last time. It was weird actually seeing the car bottoming out without being in it. It was a sad night indeed. My driveway feels so empty now and it feels like a part of me has left.
But it’s time to grow up and move onto bigger and more important things (getting married and settle down).
This is the first car that I’ve owned and it’s also the car that I learned how to drive manual with. It’s come a long way…
It was an AWESOME 3 years (bought the car in Oct 2005) and I’ve learned a ton of shit about the 240sx and cars in general. I’ve made a TON of good friends along the ways and built some good friendships.
Driving aimlessly with other s14 guys finding open parking lots to drift in at 12am and staying out late till we made enough smoke was living the life. Hopping around from location to location so we didn’t cause too much heat was a mission in itself.
I sold it to a good friend of mine who put the SR in the car and I know he’ll beat the shit out of it like I did AT THE TRACK!
Thanks to everyone for all the help they’ve given me in the past 3 years and for SON240SX, which was definitely a great community to be a part of.
AWESOME AWESOME CAR… ive seen this car progress and man its a beast! the new owner is crazy lucky to have this car… hopefully we’ll see it on the track still!
GL to you Samson in the near future, you better be coming back to the drift seen or even get Lucas into it. xD
jx110!
even since i could remember, i fought with samson about me drifting in parking lots and he forced me out to free drift fridays. If he never did that i probably would not be drifting still, or probably even driving a s-chassis anymore.
Just want to say thanks, Also good luck with everything in the future man. I know ill still see you around.
Thanks for all the kind words guys! I definitely feel like I just said goodbye to a good friend that has taken care of me on the streets…and on the track.
I’ll definitely still be active on the forums as well as attending events. I’ll play more of a spectator/helping people out guy and maybe even help the new guys get into the track scene.

Wow, after reading this, I feel like its my car that I let go of. With that said, I can imagine how it must feel to let go something that you’ve spent so much time and money on. And, watching someone else drive off with it. Feels like part of you is gone. But much respect to you still!
Anyway, time to move on. And, pop the bottles… Concentrate on what you need to now, and focus on prepping for that wedding. Good job bro!
