It was fun while it lasted...

…but like all good things, must come to an end.

For those that know me (and the car) they know it’s been through a lot, so seeing it go was kind of bittersweet.

New owner lives in the Windsor area so I will likely never see it again. :frowning:

Will there be another 240? Maybe, but I don’t think anytime soon.

Time to get out of the modding scene and put priority in my money elsewhere. I’ll still be around on SON though; someone’s gotta keep the database safe. :o

:sadwavey:

who will keep the databse safe from you!?!?!!

coastguard?

lol good to know you will still be lurking around here lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Must have been a sad day forsure. I dont think i could ever say goodbye to my S13.
I remember you being one of the senior members even back when i joined in 2004. Best of luck in whatever your going to be moving on to.

Surprisingly I wasn’t so much sad as I was relieved.

The car was just not meant for daily driving and I just got fed up driving it on a daily basis. And with winter coming I decided just to sell it and get something I can drive all year around.

What’ll I get next? Looking towards a 1st gen Mazda 6 V6. But absolutely no modding. :o

Congrats G…you finally sold it!

congrats G, but DAMN! 6 years and all that work into it…

musta been hard to watch it drive away. you probably still have that feeling where you’ll go outside and it’ll still be there.

good luck with finding a next car, and i hope you’ll stick around! SON wouldn’t be SON without the token brown mod!

I was actually happy to see it go. So I haven’t quite started missing it yet.

It’ll probably hit me at some point when I go in the garage and get reminded by some part or tool. Or when I open my laptop and notice the AEMPro program that I spent countless hours tinkering with.

Good times, good times.

BTW, who remembers this?

Which turned into this:

And finally ended up as this:

“When I was a boy, I played with toys.
When I became a man, I put away my toys.”

I remember that good old swastika KA man!

Who bought it in Windsor?

I’ll most likely see this car around

No one from SON (he saw my ad on Kijiji). He lives near Chatham…I forget the town. :/:

Maybe it was Tilbury… or maybe Lemmignton? Either way engine bay looked clean in that last pic :stuck_out_tongue:

Man, don’t bother with the Mazda 6.

Man up, and get the Mazda SPEED 6

Wtf dad… ?!?

Stop bugging me when I’m with my friends… Gawd…

Sorry broham, gotta give up the manual for a bit and plus, the Speed6 is way past my budget (which is like < ~$15K)

Yup it was Tilbury.

hahahaha i actually laughed out loud scared my 5 month old

HOW MUCH?!!!

Too bad we never lined up at the track, Would have been fun.
We had about the same mods in our cars.

Oh well , life goes on.

I could only manage a best of 14.0 @ 108 on 205 tires (FK452 with not much tread and 18psi I think). Horrible 60fts.
