iTunes is a resource hog. Mine does the same thing, so I just hang tough with the OG Winamp. I even downloaded a program to sync my iPod through Winamp.

Troof… try finding itunes 6 instead. 7 is a fucking beast of a resource hog. Or just use winamp

AHahahhaha , Mine was doing it with AIM, and iTunes as the only visable programs running. (Meaning the only 2 tabs at the bottom of the screen,)

I just love how people always talk down on iTunes and such. I’ve never had any problems with it running and alot of other programs. My laptop isn’t anything special. I bought it to run animation programs, but use it now for photo editing.

8grand worked for ipod support, so i’d trust anything that he says… itunes sucks balls… but so does owning an ipod!
if you want more ram, your pc shouldn’t die unless you swapped the wrong speed on an older machine. i have plenty of ram for sale. :blue:

I have no idea whats in this Monster concoction of a pc that i have, but its relitivly newer…
How much for you to come check out what ive got, add or replace the ram or whatever it needs? I pay. ask around, everybody ive delt with knows im not going to brush you off, i need it to work properly, i run First Bass from this computer, it needs to run efficiently.
get someone to figure out what type of ram you have and order it new from tiger direct or new egg for cheap…then have someone else install it…oh yea…chaz pays

If you bought it from a store or online complete from a company you can always look it up on their website, and their are also some programs like SiSoftware Sandra Lite, which i use for some things, that will tell you specifically what your computer is using and what it can take.
if you want a resource monitoring tool, i’d get process explorer from sysinternals.
