if you look on all the JDM cops [i couldnt resist] you'll see a plastic runing vertically across the hood on all the cars except for the STi, what is it??Yeah I want to know too … its been bothering me for awhile, It looks like some sort of deflector…but dunno the exact usage of it
to the question about the police cars drifitng… yes they have a video with a bunch of japanese police cars drifting.also they have those modded cars now to catch wagan racers but they dont really have harsh punishment for wangan speeders i hear.

You welcome…, Soo i discovered couple things, first of all the plastic running vertically across the hood is a Seal against stones…protects the windshield…and the gold flower emblem is the symbol of the Royal Chrysanthemum police department.
If anyone has better explanation i’d love to hear it…

so…they have a windshield…for the windshield? haha i would’ve thought it’d be cheaper to put a one piece deflector at the very front of the the hood, but oh well.
