JapanStar

Looking into a RB25det for a project car … I have heard a lot of good/bad things about them. Looking for some personal experiences with them… thanks

If your not going to rebuild the motor just find someone selling their whole swap.

i am … lookin on nico and zilvia right now… any other sites that might be good to look on?

240sxone.com might be good.

http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/ might have a motorset, I’d trust them 100%.

just checked and RAW is back ordered on rb25det… $2500

how hard was the conversion after you got the mount conversion?any tips … going in a s13 btw

Hardest part was the harness, rest is bolt in pretty much. Look into getting the Skyo mount kit, best one out there. Get a R33 crossmember as well.

what about driveshaft and whast not ?

Custom length. I picked an Aluminum one from driveshaftshop.com

put money in t/a /thread

put bigger turbzz on current motor and race me

:ninja

Put a 350 in the Nissan and call it a day.

My motor was junk and they didnt care to make it right. I ended up rebuilding it but I would have like to not have been lied to and having the choice to rebuild the motor not having to because it was beat

a lot of fabbing and if you wanna fab kits are pricey or i would … already looked into it

yeah thanks for letting me know … i was looking into rebuilding a RB and what not but i know parts are exp and more rare to come by… so IDK

I didnt think it would be hard to put a 350 into anything rwd.

I know Ive seen 240’s with small block Chevy’s and Fords before.

I’ve done a handful of swaps for people that have purchased from Japanstar. All have been pretty clean and ran beautifully. Don’t plan on getting a clean harness though…and make them do a compression test infront of you.

they have gotten alot better about harnesses, as long as your know what to look for and you go there in person they are good people to deal with, i have bought many swaps and have done many swaps for customers from them, any problem i have ever had i call them and it is fixed immediately. they get the ok from me. you just have to build your own personal relationship with them, they have never done me wrong and i have always been upfront and frank with them. talk to brian. hes the new sales rep as of when i was there a week ago. good luck!
