Whats wrong with necc?
Oh, nothing at all! But it’s for Nissans… and well… I… ahem… I… I have a Honda! :butthead: :finga:
DAMN nice one too!! I looked and looked for a civic hatch tho, but I couldn’t find one!! So my winter beater is a 1997 Chrysler Intrepid!! lol
Looks like a pretty decent forum so far.
The only complaint is the IDIOT high school kids that make retarded posts.
i know fuck people are DUMB!!!
Shows alot of potential, but the idiot responses on there makes my nose bleed.
“Man a 240sx with a SR20DET can be done up sooooo nice and it is so fast!!!” :vom:
“Yeah you should get a right hand drive. The SR makes more power in a JDM s13 cause of where the exhaust goes.”
“It’s cause the have like 100 octane gas in JDM. So the cars have more power from burning better gas. I don’t know who would want LHD either. Maybe I know your buddy at school? What school? Not many people I talk to know about JDMs. It’s like our little secret club.”
“Do you have a Porsche 911? I bet an SR20 S13 could beat those at the track.”
“my nissan right now is putting out 350 hp. so lets add it up. 2700 pound car + 350hp (250whp) = faster than a porsche car!!”
One post he said he has a 350hp 240, and the next post it said it has 240whp. GO figure.
“are you talking about the RB25, which is a V6 while a sr20det is a 4 cylinder”
“it is still a V6. what my brother always says “its all about power to weight ratio.” if u have a v6 rb20 which originally puts out 214 bhp, and a 4 cylinder redtop that originally puts out 205 bhp, and making them into 350 rwhp, which one do u think would go faster?”
My god!!! :guns :wtf:
Yeah it got retarded pretty damn quick  Lots of stupid comments…
Lmao, I knew it was going to happen, but havent had time to moderate, edit, and ban retards yet. Yeesh.
Man I wish I could do whp conversions like that! And I also wish my RB was a V6 cuz then I could drift better in the safeway parking lot.
Just a question though, I’ve heard rumours of Japanese 100 octane gas being similar to our 92 or 94 octane because they work on a different indexes? Is this true?
I’ve heard about the index values as well. Not sure about them, but at the end of it, I still think they have a few octane points on us.
Yeah who the hell would write stuff like that? :finga:
Damn you louis.
100 octane japan is closer to 95. However most JDM cars run fine on our 91. My ECU is tuned by Blitz and they said do not use anything less than 100 octane in it or you will experience detonation at 14PSI. On 94 Octane i experience not detonation at 14. I turned it up to about 1.2 Bar and i still did not hear any. (yes i know this is bad it is back down at 14PSI or 1 bar) and i felt no timing being pulled.
There was a conversion chart posted somewere and i will see if i can find it for you.
yea, it’s about 95 octane from what i’ve been told as well. i use the mohawk 94 and 91 made my car knock past 4,000 rpm. i did a $20 tank once, and that was the last time i’d ever do that. i think it’s all in how your car is tuned, especially with alot of cars coming from there with rich fuel maps, rev/speed limiters removed and etc.
some boards are bound to go south quickly. www.jdmoc.com has a wide variety of members, from the states, canada, nz and australia. but the boards are still small, and posts aren’t very frequent. it’ll be no time before people swarm it and things like converting their LHD to RHD and say stuff like GT-Rs are V6 single turbos that make 500HP stock.
He he… those forums gave me a good laugh I needed that.
