Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 TT

Built by everyone’s favorite criminal

This is the Hennessey HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
That 800 in the moniker stands, naturally, for how many horses have been strapped under the Santa-spec red bonnet. 805bhp, to be precise, that ride shotgun with 823 torques to give a 0-60mph time of 3.1 seconds. That’s fractionally, fractionally faster than a Ferrari 458 Italia. Mr Hennessey tells us it’ll do the standing quarter mile in 10.9 seconds, travelling at 130mph.
That massive 6.4-litre V8 gets rebigulated to 7 litres, treated to two turbos and mated to an upgraded transmission and torque converter. It also gets 20in wheels, much leather and Alcantara, a Brembo brake system, lowered sports suspension and a carbon fibre lip spoiler.
Says Mr Hennessey: “This vehicle is designed for the performance minded driver who live in Aspen or Moscow and wants to be the fastest in all weather conditions.”
Or indeed, the driver who enjoys plastering looks of sheer surprise across supercar owners at the lights. Yikes. Just 24 will be built, with prices starting from £150,000 ($235,000).

I love it

Insane…insanely cool!

i want.

I am far from an SUV guy, but this looks awesome and I’m sure it performs just as well too.

beautiful suv but HOLY PRICE TAG!!!

That price is retarded. The New Era built SRT-8 is almost as fast as that.

That Jeep doesn’t exist and probably never will.

Hennessy is a joke.

I like the SRT8 Grand Cherokees, this one is ridiculous though. With the price tag AND those ugly wheels.

I’d rather spend that money on a 997T and software/exhaust and it will probably be as fast as that jeep

Hell you could go buy a GTR and take it to AMS and get the alpha 12 package and still have money if your pocket and be faster!

Save yourself the money and get a stage 6 motorsports single turbo kit for an SRT8. They have a stock motor one running in the 10s and a built motor in the 9s.

TTC just put a TT kit on a stock 6.1 threw a transmission in it and a fuel system, 9psi pump gas was almost 630rwhp.

His 426TT was closer to 1200awhp.

There are guys making them fast, Hennessy isn’t one of them.

I think gregs trucks is faster than that one…IIRC he went low 10s this year.

it runs mid 11’s :snky:

Those hennessey 1/4 times are usually done on street tires

Here is a built 392 with a Stage 6 Single Turbo 76mm

:bigok:

Hennessey is famous for insanely priced packages that never make it to production, and then trying to market them. He may end up with ONE order, so all of the R&D costs is built into each car.

He is good at marketing, but never does anything remotely impressive these days. His cars routinely under-deliver and fail under testing, while the “smaller name” tuners walk all over him.

TT kit based on the STS kit.

Stage 6 Twin Turbo on a 392. This thing has a ton left in it.

The Stage 6 Single turbo 392 that was in Z28’s post .

RetroKing’s LPM 440, NA Hanging the motha’fuggin wheels.

BuilderBill’s TT BEAST - (Now at Stage 6, they’re shooting for 8s)

Crazy Russians… there are a bunch of these guys doing crazy things to these Jeeps.

Cali guy… his vids are unique, but his Jeep rips. 426 w/ KB.

And Twin Turbo Creations - Out of NYC -

TT on stock motor with supporting fuel and transmission - PUMP GAS -

TT 426 -

I could go on and on about all of the amazing builders for Jeeps, without listing Hennessey… and they have proven track records, budget minded goals and deliver products.

I think the “Viper Doctor” should get into the Hemi business
