LOLā¦ I find this thread especially hilarious, seeing as the other business in the family, Imperial Door, has 20 fleet vehicles. All of them were Chrysler products, and there were never problems. Then Chrysler stopped making that style truck/van, and they switched to GM and Ford products. CONSTANT, and I mean CONSTANT problems. One Chevy is on its 5th transmission. One ford needed an engine at 5K and will probably be lemon-lawed as it has been a basket case since. All have electrical problems. All have engine and trans problems starting at about 100K. All have rust and paint issues. Absolute fucking garbage. Chrysler brings their trucks back, and BAM, problems gone again, and trucks good for 250-300K with regular maintenance.
Coincidence? Yeahā¦ over the course of 30 years and probably 100 trucks? My fucking ass it is.
Yes, I will grant everyone that the interiors especially on Chrysler products werenāt great up until now [and Ford and GM were better? Yeah, rightā¦ nice way to try and compare NEW Ford/GM interiors with OLD Chrysler interiors. NO ONE can match the new Chrysler interiors], but everything is worlds higher quality. Have any of you haters actually compared the wiring harnesses, connectors, module, circuit boards, castings etc. of a newer Chrysler product against a Ford or GM part? Design flaws aside that plague parts in ALL cars sometimes, it is very obvious who puts money into engineering, and who scrapes the bottom of the barrel with sub-par junk.
Newsflash for everyone as well: When you buy the cheapest crap a company makes, you get the cheapest crap the company makes.
Oh, and Japanese cars? 3000GT. Enough said. Not everything coming out of Japan runs forever. Besides, Lawnmower Engines are pretty reliable these days
You seem pretty upset that we arenāt chrysler leg humpers too.
I forgot that wiring harnesses and connectors are my number 1 concern when buying a car. Mpg, looks, interior, comfort, quality, none of that is important.
lol no not every Japanese car is good. Iāve actually been pretty disappointed with my 2007 Xterra and a big part of the reason why Iāll be selling it in about a month.
But I still put my money on the reliability of a Honda, Toyota, Subaru, or to a lesser extent a Nissan over a GM, Ford, and especially a Chrysler.
So there is hope he will be wiped off the earth soon.
The humping is strong with this one.
I donāt believe you. I want pics of a 300k mile Chrysler product. They donāt exist.
How about a 1.4 million mile one?

my friend has a dakota that he beats the shit out of and it currently has over 290k on it, original drivetrain. heres a pic of it as well as one of the odometer from last feburary. he also has a ram with over 200k on it that gets beat to hell offroading.
i had a dakota that i junked with 218k simply because i didnt feel like replacing the exhaust after getting a loud muffler ticket, but it ran great with the original drivetrain still.
i will agree with final gts, i love the interior on my ram truck. the new generation of trucks look better than the ford/gm and the interiors are really nice for a truck. they also have great power and theyre rated the best riding in their class. i couldnt be any happier with my decision.
proof that chrystlers can rack up miles
dakota thats almost to 300k:
ram with over 200k, again original drivetrain:
I have a '06 gc, loaded (moon roof, towing, pleather, heated seatsā¦) Just hit 63k and havenāt had any problems. My only complaint is the 3.7 sucks on power, should have gotten the hemi. I like it so much that I will be getting another one in a year or two.
Did your thingy go off?

Everyone has to try that at some point of they own an SUV
its that big hill on the corner of the walmart parking lot / rogers road
I wish my friend would have gone down the rest of the hill for a better shot, hes maybe half wayā¦ lol
my neighbor across the street has a brand new v8 grand cherokee and his wife a brand new V6.
Theyāre HORRIBLE. they hate them so much and are in for service ALL the time.
sometimes they dont want to start, sometimes water leaks in the windows and sealsā¦something different each day that proves horrible terrible build quality
If thatās the hill by the movieland theatersā¦ I did that too in my RR.
We literally just laughed our asses off to that
We bought our Liberty new in 2005. So far, weāve had a few minor issues, but nothing Iād consider outlandish for a car itās age, mileage and in the climate itās driven in.
The only build issue was that it had a very minor vibration at certain speeds due to an out of balance drive shaft. Aside from the service manager at Northtown being a cunt and telling me that ā70mph is above the legal speed limitā it was fixed pretty easily under warranty.
Other than that, all weāve had to do is brakes, a u joint and replace a transmission line that rusted out.
Now that Iāve said that, it will likely spontaneously combust in the next week.
im confused. why would someone test the handling abilities of a jeep/suv? obviously its not going to handle well, its not a car. seems retarded to me.
