from what i could find on honda tech, is that he is an oldschooler and doesnt deal with individuals just deals through certain shops and things, and honda tech folks say he knows his shit :dunno:

If i remember right before all the mainstream sponsorship started happening back in mid 90’s , guys like papadakis, bergenholtz , and callos used JG engines in their cars. If you would find and read a turbo magazine from like 96-97 and read about some of those old school honda whips alot of them were runnin JG motors

Yeah JG has been around a long time in the import industry. His rep seemd pretty good early on then their seemed to be a number of questionable things coming out of his shop which I think was most likely a product of things getting too big too quickly.

Javier Guitterez (sp) Engine Dynamics…OG Honda tuner. He has some legendary builds, most recently he won a b16 shootout in some import mag. He definatley knows his stuff. I don’t know if he still does individual business.

Now that I think about it I think EgTurboSi on here can speak of the quality, or lack therof of JG’s engine builds from past first hand experience.

i could be wrong but i think woodward had a motor built by them years ago, i’m talking at least 7 years ago. and if its the place i’m thinking of i wouldnt let them do anything for me. he had problems with that place from the start. first they gave him eagle rods when he paid for crowers, a sunken sleeve after it was installed, and i think there were some other things wrong as well. eric or jay probably remember more than i do about it.

well from what ive seen here I should prolly just stay away, i think im gonna just stick with GE they seem to be pretty solid

all the sleeve companys are good benson. erl. im not even sure but they all are good

Camp1320.com has the deal with GE sleeving like 850 or some shit…thats cheaper then going threw them directly
