really glad this got bumped for a good reason.

I wanted to avoid cracked ringlands. In all honest the 257 is a pile of a motor, these 207’s blow them out of the water in every aspect other than displacement. Being able to put down 500whp reliably on a stock block is a blessing.

That gives me that warm fuzzy feeling hahaha, but in all seriousness I’ve never lost hope in this thing becoming a great well rounded car.

Trying to do a little fab work, my front mount is a touchy situation. I want it to fill the gaping hole in my front bumper, so I need to lower it a few inches and shave a few inches off the inside of my bumper. It’s coming along.

remember shave slowly and less is more. you can’t put back what you cut off but you can always sand and cut more.

Also I would love to see that super high almost ridiculous Charge speed sti wing on this car. I think it would look AAAAAAAAmazing

Think so? I thought about keeping it wingless and adding a rear window spoiler, or throwing an APR GTC-300 on it, or the Chargespeed wing, I really have no idea what will look the best in my head yet.

As far as shaving, I’m throwing around a few different ideas. I hate fiberglass. I think I have a good idea of what to take off but like you said it’s easier to take more off than to add some back. I’m more involved with the front mount and bumper than I am the motor at this point.

Charge speed all the way

I’m going to keep thinking about it, I don’t plan on too many major body changes this year so I have some time. It’s a tough decision.

On the flip side, camber plates should be here Monday or Tuesday, finally get some room on the inside and maybe go a half degree negative.

if u do a gt wing please do something bigger then the gt-300, you have a widebody so u need a big ass wing or nothing at all.
