Hey man, those who drive Lotus’ shouldn’t cast stones.
Looking good! Your guy (Jon) should be coming to do my patio by end of July.
Looks good, I like the carport too, that had to be nice in the rain/snow
x…
Other than the blue/yellow sabres colors everything about this is awesome. Quality work!
Driveway looks great and so do the cabinets. Was it hard using the light color? We used the Kona color on ours and love it, but did not go with the glaze on it. We’ve had it for over a year now, and no issues with chips or scratches at all, and there have been many occasions where I believed there should have been.
“graze”? If you’re of Asian decent, I apologize in advance.
The glaze was pretty easy to use. I was in charge of putting the glaze on with a brush/sponge and my gf was in charge of wiping it off with the rags they provide. It allows you to really take off/leave on how ever much you want. We originally were going for a super light cabinet, but as we were working, I wanted more character and darker spots to show in the cracks/corners.
I was super happy with the way it turned out and it really goes well with my new counter tops and back splash. I got 90% of the back splash up last night, pretty much worked on it all day and into the early hours in the morning. What a pain in the ass it was to cut those with glass snippers and tin snips. I know some people say to use a tile saw, but I think the hand tools gave me a better result, just took a while.
Here’s a quick shot of it so far. I’ll let it sit for a few days before I grout it.
Solid job all around Rob, finally caught up on some of your posts in this thread dating back to your revised basement. Really impressed with the work you’ve done!
Thanks Mike! Pretty soon you get to join the club and see how much fun all of this is lol
Looking great!
Love this thread. Keep it up!
Thanks guys! I’m really hoping to have this all done pretty soon. I’m ready to enjoy summer on deck and drink some cold ones without working all the time.
Looks very nice man. Good work.
Dan
driveway and cabinets looks good!
I’d ask the neighbor if I could paint the side of his garage next to your hottub… IMO it would make a huge difference for maybe 30$
I would love to paint it, but I think they are pretty pissed at me currently for throwing the fence up. I’m pretty sure they took it personally and haven’t said a word to me since I put it up. I guess that’s what happens when you live this close to each other, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I like the fence and I’m glad I put it up.
Fuck him. It directly benefits him as well.
+1
I agree wth you guys, I’ll just have to talk to him about it. Who would want to look at that yard though? I keep mine in great shape, I would love to look at someone else’s yard that looked like mine.
A friend on FB said it perfectly…They wouldn’t be so upset if they weren’t so nosey.
What’s the big deal? If the fence is on your property and the proper distance from the property line and its height is to code I see no problem.
