i understand this but by doin this my car becomes more of a jack of all trades instead of a one trick pony. Have u ever ridden in a f-body that could handle? If you’ve ever been up to the North Park auto x u will know that one of the fastest guys there is in a f- body.
i have an unadjustable bmr panhard right now. I will be ordering an adjustable one though due to the width of my tires. I also am not relocation brackets, I’ll just adjust it with an adjustable tq arm.
hun?
I am not going to get relocator brackets. Sorry didn’t realize i forgot a word? Starting to type like you.
u cant…to much adjusting on a tq. arm will be bad for ur rear end…u cant go below -2* b/c that puts too much wear on the pinon angle…and will fuck ur rear end up…better get those reloctoin brackets…and adjust the control arms to be bigger!!!
2* is all i should need
i run mine -4!!!
I could go into a long post on how pinion angle works, but I dont feel like typing
back to 0 then!!!
LOL…
do u use relocator brackets?
yes,the only way to go!avg.60’ are low 1.5’s
-2 if u drive it daily they say…if its a race car…hell ya -4
i do…and then put adjustable control arms on…and make them bigger…the higher the center of inertia is…the better the traction out of the hole!!!
Actually the higher it is, the quicker you get foward bite= traction. So actually you have foward bite not traction. Traction is done through your tires not suspension.
so the higher your pinion angle . quiker your suspension works. but set up pinion angle to high and your suspenion will work for about 4 feet and quit. Tires break loose… Fuck it this some hard shit to explain. but believe me.
wrong, lots of car drive daily at -4,all u need adj, is touqe arm & panhard!u dont want ur rear high!
bmr and a couple other sites recomend for daily driving that you use -2 degress…im not going against you at all brain…but thats what they siad if ur driving it every day!!! and u dont want the rear high…ur just want the center of inertia(sp) or the CI to be above the stock setting
How? On a f-body you change the pinion angle that way. But leaf spring and bar cars ( coil spring) 4 link cars are adjusted a different way. to acheive pinion angle.
