Just replaced clutch, now shaking in 2nd and 3rd??

hey so i just changed my clutch this weekend, as the one that was in it was factory and smooth as glass now, before we changed it there wasnt anything wrong with the car (other then the obvious clutch) and now when im shifting into 2nd it shakes the car pretty decently. not really sure what it is. it happens in 2nd around 30 km/h then disappears when i reach about 40 km/h. then it does it in 3rd for a couple seconds and disappears again.

if anybody has any ideas on what it might be please let me know, i want to get this fixed as soon as possible, thanks guys

Driveshaft / damaged hanger bearing. Loose mounts. Misaligned mounts

mounts are good, ill check the driveshaft hanger bearing, pretty sure its good though. thanks for the tip

bearing is good, all of the driveshaft is assembled right, any other ideas?

is your clutch pedal properly adjusted? possibly grease on the disc during install? clutch fork properly on pivot ball?

helped with install (what a pain)
pedal was left unattended but seems like it needs minimal adjustment if any, no grease on disc and fork is on good.

had this same issue with cheap clutches causing shutters in my case was a napa clutch. Replaced it with a luke problem solved.

any way to tell if the hanger bearing is damaged?

edit : brought car over, checked the torque on tranny mount, tranny cross member and hanger bearing and it was snug + 1/4 turn tight. tightened them up as tight as i could, i dont know the torque specs if there are any but it stopped for a bit, about 170km later the shake is back back instead of 25-40km its only like 30 to 33km it shakes.

any more ideas?

yea its a cheap clutch so probably just going to deal with it for now, hopefully have new motor ready in the next month so ill just wait til i drop the new motor in and replace with quality clutch then, thanks for the tip

did you replace the pilot bushing?

lmfao

pilot bushing would have no effect when clutch is engaged considering the transmission is spinning with the crank at that point
