Hmmm, doesnt seem to accurate. I love top gear and they usually have the best reviews but with the 350s # 5.3-5.5 0-60 and 13.9-14.1@101 in the quarter opposed to the 1990 Z32TT which is 5.5-6.0 0-60 and 14.1-14.4@99 ud think i might have been a little closer.

very nice clip…damn my non-turbo car!!! lol

time for a swap

I doubt that video’s accurate as well, he probably misshifted or something.

lol dun look at my car

u think if it was inaccurate he wudda won

I hate that guy… He seriously hates the Z.

It should have def been closer, alot closer.

Soo hostile now eh Churchill?

Just FYI, Jeremy Clarkson (and the brits) give the WORST car reviews ever… HOWEVER, him and the Top Gear crew are ridiculously entertaining…

NOTHING in their ā€˜stage in mind’ can beat the Aston Martin; all while downplaying AM’s preformance handicap. It’s a gorgeous car and all, it’s crappy when considering performance of their competition.

Definitely not the best representation of what would happen!

well im sure any body who gives car reviews are gunna be biased to a certain car or a certain make

hahah, is it that transparent??
LoL! ya i agree, top gear reviews are quite humorous.

I was at the coin wash last month and this Vanquish pulls up to the enclosure next to me. I make my way over to speak with him about his car, and before I get around the wall he pops out and says ā€œhey nice rideā€, I was like ??? are you F*kn kidding me!

Anyhow, he turned out to be a true enthusiast. He even had picks of his race ported FD Rx7, R2 model IIRC. Oh, and this guy was in his early 40’s tops.

It just shocked me that he would even notice my Z when he’s rolling in a 200k ride.

C:)

You haven’t watched Top Gear have you?

It’s understood that there’s going to be bias, but they take it to the next level.

Funny show, and definitely entertaining, but don’t scratch your head too hard when you see questionable results. (Jeremy Clarkson’s a crappy driver anyways)

That was staged. The Z33 was slowing down at the end.

Granted, the Z32 TT is definitely faster stock for stock, there’s no question. It also cost a lot more money compared to a Z33 (even before adjusting for inflation, the Z32 TT cost in the low 40s USD compared to 27-28 USD for a Z33). When Nissan designed the Z33, they realized how they previous car (Z32) got away from the ā€œaffordable sports carā€ model they started with, so they wanted to make the new car sporty in a simple manner… stick in a big, bullet-proof NA engine.

And the idea that the 260Z could come even close to the 350Z in acceleration is just ridiculous. Again, look at the video…

I’ll take my slower, easier to repair car (Z32s are COMPLEX!), thank you very much  . I know what it’s capabilities are, what they aren’t, and I’m quite satisfied knowing it’s definitely a true Z car that makes the lineage proud. Nissan has a helluva job to do in trying to top it with the next model. I hate when reporters (I’m not calling him a journalist) let their biases dictate their findings, not the other way around.

no that i dont…i dont normally keep an eye out for certain shows…even my fav shows to watch…i cud care less if i missed them…typically i do
