the VTEC systems in the TSX and K20’s(excluding the 03 SI) are designed for top end performance are completely different than the VTEC systems in the accord/crv motors. the VTEC systems in those care are geared purely for economy. i believe only one valve opens before VTEC engages, and VTC is only on the intake cam.
