Ka-T 3" Downpipe to 2-1/4" Exhaust?

Hey guys, I recently purchase a T3/T4 Turbo and intercooler, I am certain I can install the system myself, just not completely sure about the exhaust setup I am going to have…

I have a 2-1/4% Magnaflow exhaust atm, sounds wicked :) But I am going from a 3" Turbo downpipe, is this going to cause back pressure problems? Il only be boosting at 7psi untill next year...  Also wondering if anyone has some good experience with a piggy back ecu like Greddy emanage or whatever and if i should get it asap.

it wont cause any problems per say, but it is too small for a turbo setup to breath fully. You’ll just lose out on a couple hp, no biggie.

You dont NEED an emanage, you could set it up good enough with a SAFC but a piggyback will give you much more tuning capabilities
