I only know of VG, KA, SR, RB, and I think a few others… but I’m not sure about FJ, got any more info? I am curious I want to know more.

I love how you guys would find anything, anything to call a car down.

I don’t really get this problem he’s having setting his stall speed.

Unless the Nissan 4 speed has an electronic torque converter, and somehow the EMS can communicate with it, but I can’t see anything Nissan factory having much adjustability in it.

Then again, when you work for AMS and sponsors are footing your bill, you have to make their technology work, rather than go with what you know will work.

But as for a Drag 240 … 9s, are so … well, passé

Mark Ashford hit 7.96@171.58 and has the crowns of Fastest 4 Cylinder in the world, fastest automatic 4 cylinder in the world, etc.

But he’s using a 2-speed powerglide like everyone else in drag racing.

with 744 hp @ 27.5 psi out of an FJ.

Yes, it’s a 200sx, but it’s an S14.

The other 200sx has only hit 9.69 … also FJ powered.

That would make sense. Australia is very Ford heavy … that and C4s are very very light autos. I’ve got one in my Z31.

Mark doesn’t post often (like at all) so I couldn’t really remember his setup.
