so today was my first race, and it was against, yes, a RX-7 TT. On the Highwaywe did some 4th gear pulls(3rd for him) and I pulled alittle until his topend came into play then he just kept pulling away because of his topend and lack of a fuel cut. But after a 20min highway run we came to a set of lights…We lined up, waited, and bam the light turned green…scrchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh go the tires…I took him of the line and pulled away for the win by about 2 car lenghts. Needless to say I was surprised as hell to win. this rx-7 has blitz nur spec exhaust(loud, and nice flames)apex-i intake, blitz turbo timer and boost controller. And mine, well, my setup is in a post a couple spots down, and its un-tuned. 
. This race was with one of the guys I work with at Mosport, He’s a cool guy, but now he already wants a re-match. HA HA KA-T ALL THE WAY :twisted:

I’ll let you know of the rematch, we plan to both go to the dragstrip together and get some numbers, he is actually in my appt. right now. He told me he screwed up shifting into third. I just rubbed it in with the fact I beat him on winter tires. He is willing to admit I killed him off of the line. cant wait to get to the drags

i am not defending myself but it was on a sideroad in the outskirts of peterborough. no one around, just for fun between to friends.Not like I do this all of the time.Plus people on this site admit to drifting in “special spots”, isn’t that unsafe aswell as illegal.The highway stuff was only when there was no cars near-by. Hwy 115 always an opening. No stupid shit like swerving in and out of traffic. When i really want to drive i use the DD Track at Mosport, i got keys
