Ka24: where to get oil line for turbo from?

i guess it would just depend how comfortable you feel with pulling out a motor just to change a few sensors and stuff like that.

and yes. you do have to take the oil pan right off the engine. don’t get lazy. do it right, and clean it out after you drill it. and actually weld it on, don’t use epoxy or anything hagard like that, this is something you want to do proper. and you can’t return it to the head cover. it needs gravity to pull it down into the oil pan. if you don’t do it proper, you could have too much oil in your turbo, blowing seals, and other fun stuff like that.

we’ve all tried half assed setups before with our cars. do it right the first time.

You can do it with the engine in the car, remove the mounts bolts, jack enough so that you can reach the 2 bolts holding the oil pickup inside the pan. Once it’s remove, you can slip the pan out. Reinstalling those 2 bolts is the worst part, trust me ! For the pvc valve, you can simply push the alternator and you can reach it.
