kidney stones

The first time i had a stent removed in the doctors office, it was very unpleasant. The second time, it was excrutiatingly painful. I had contracted a UTI, and that made everything a lot more sensitive.
The shockwave treatment is called Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy. That’s a pretty effective treatment for big stones. Unfortunatly for me, i was not a candidate because my stones were invisible to xrays. The showed up nice and bright on CT scans though. They were uric acid stones, which in many cases cannot be picked up on xrays.
Good luck passing that thing. Just try to make sure you can retrieve it for analysis. Once your doctor knows their composition, he can recommend how to lower your chances of getting more.
