I felt that there was alot more action in Vol1 than in Vol2, and the second installment was a little too dramatic at the end. Just personal preference i suppose. The things that sucked about Vol2 was the lack of killing. Bud and California Mountain Snake weren’t killed by the Bride, and Bill’s death was quick. Pai Mei made the movie and the beard stroking thing was just classic.
Did any of you sit till the end of the credits? Not much to see, just an outtake.
about to get dwn with darryl hannah, ends it in 2 seconds
about to get dirty with bill, ends in 2 seconds.
waste of your time unless it is worth $10 for closure on the first one, if you ask me, they should have released part 2 only on video in a package with the first one.
i loved the first one , there was so much more action and vintage stuff here and there but the second one was too tame and could have use more of everything except talking :x
I personally loved both the first one and the second one. They are made completely different even though they do share some of the same elements (such as: music before fights)
The second one was still made really well, it really explains all the things that were confusing in the first movie. All of the actors played really well, especially Bill.
The only thing I found kind of stupid is when Kiddo was getting out of the grave. (Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone)
I agree, some things were far fetched. But it’s not supposed to be realistic really. It’s almost like they left a tunnel for Kiddo. And why would Bud leave things unfinished.
it’s kinda of like Scary movie accept far more subtle.
my bro picked out every little bite, but it just didnt interest me, and drawing out the bites shouldnt be the excitement, the movie should stand on it’s own and it really didnt.
it is completely dependent on other films it bites from and from the first volume.
It was all one movie that was split into two volumes. Of course it’s going to derive from the first volume. It’s an homage to old movies, what did you expect. QT did the same for Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown. I see what you’re saying about references that make up the movie and not the plot. I am a fan of blaxploitation movies, but didn’t care for Jackie Brown too much.
